The thumbnail image for the “under construction” pages shows one of my own shots of a fledgling Robin. As you can see, most of the fledgling feathers are moulting, making way for the familiar red breast, although the head is still fully speckled.

In a sense, the adult Robin is currently “under construction”, which amused me.
